Biography of Mr. Staulter
Welcome to the Fourth grade! My name is Philip Staulter. This is my 25th year teaching at Cassopolis Public Schools . I have been teaching fourth grade for 2 years and find it very fulfilling .
I attended Michigan State University where I graduated from in 1984 with a Bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education with a major in Social Studies and a minor in Fine Arts. Upon graduating I served three years in the Peace Corp. teaching in a Provincial school setting, in the Solomon Islands, South Pacific.
I live in Cass County just outside of Decatur. My cat Hello and I enjoy the peace and quiet of this country setting.
During my free time, I love working around my house and in the garden. I also enjoy working out either running or lifting weights so as to stay in shape. When not doing these activities I enjoy spending time with my family, all of whom live on the east side of Michigan.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to teach your child. With your help, we will have a successful fourth grade year!
